The depot is on Knowsley Business Park, which makes these the shortest jobs we run. That is not a marketing line, it is arithmetic. A removal is priced on crew time and vehicle time, and both start when the van leaves the yard. A mover coming out from the other side of the city is charging you for the journey to your door as well as the journey from it. For a Prescot or Huyton move, ours is a few minutes.
Britannia Fleet has worked across Knowsley and the surrounding towns since 1972, and moved into the Randles Road site from Huyton under the current management.

| Depot | Knowsley Business Park, on the M57 and close to the M62 |

| Services used | Free survey, packing, removal, storage where needed |
| Also available | Piano removals, packing materials, shredding |
Local knowledge is a practical thing, not a slogan
Knowing the back roads, which junctions bind up at which times and when to leave to avoid the worst of it is worth more on a moving day than most people expect. A load that sits on the M57 at half four is a load that arrives at a house in the dark.
Start times get set around that rather than around a standard slot.
The towns, and what each tends to throw up
Prescot and Huyton run to a mix of older terraces and post-war semis, which mostly means checking the turn on the stairs and whether the van can sit on the road without blocking it. Kirkby and parts of Knowsley are more modern and more straightforward, with driveways and wider approaches.
St Helens covers a wider spread and a longer run from the depot, so the survey matters more for timings than for access. Crosby and Bootle bring Victorian terraces with front doors straight onto the pavement and parking that fills up early.
Moving out of the area, or into it
Plenty of these jobs are one-directional. People move out of Liverpool into Knowsley and St Helens for space, and back in towards the city for the commute. Either way the survey covers both ends, because a move that loads easily and cannot unload has just relocated the problem.
If the dates do not line up
Storage at the depot sits in the middle of all of these towns, so bridging a gap between completion dates does not mean sending your belongings somewhere inconvenient. Containers are loaded at your door and returned when you are ready.
How the quote works
A survey, then a written quote covering crew, vehicles, packing materials and storage if you need it. Nothing is buried in small print and the figure does not move afterwards unless what is being moved changes.
