COVID–19 Safety Procedures
Here at Britannia Fleet Liverpool, we are continuously renewing and have improved our robust safety procedures, given the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
INITIAL VISIT
We will discuss some important questions around the health and potential vulnerability of all occupants of your property.
VIDEO SURVEY
With all jobs you will be offered a free video survey, done easily via your smartphone. We can then assess the size and value of your items.
MOVING DAY
On the day of your move, your team will be wearing full PPE. This way protection is offered against transmission. If you require a third team member, they will travel to your job separately.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION
YOUR MOVE PLAN:
Detailed discussions around the layout, size and dimensions of your property. We can also use a floorplan if you have created one.
Our logistics experts use this information to create your move plan. This is fully discussed with your moving team.
We will ask you to leave your property during our visit, or move to one room if this isn’t possible.
We would politely ask that our move team has access to washing facilities, to minimise the spread of the virus. We will also bring our own hand sanitiser which is also used in our vehicles.
We are not able to accept refreshments whilst on site.
DURING DELIVERY:
Upon getting the keys for your property, your team will ask you to confirm the house layout.
We’ll then place your furniture before asking you to vacate.
Any changes will be agreed and made with your team.
All paperwork will be left in a pre agreed secure location. All signing will be done with your own pen.
FOR YOUR REASSURANCE:
Our removals staff have received additional training around working in close parameters, ensuring maximum safety in your home. This includes safe use of PPE & washing uniforms at high temperatures.
